"That’s a bit of a silly lineup. Yes, you might want a bit more left/right balance, but the worst hitter is either Kim or Eric Hosmer, and both project to be league-average or so, Kim with additional upside. There’s some chance that Tommy Pham, who had the worst year of his career at 32, is done; Jake Cronenworth would be first in line to take his at-bats. The Padres might be well served, even having pushed their payroll to $160 million, to look into that pool of left fielders sitting out there. Michael Brantley might be a little pricey, but Joc Pederson, Brett Gardner, and Robbie Grossman are all fits. The move I really like for them is signing Jackie Bradley Jr. and sliding Trent Grisham to left field."
