Contra the Yankees, the Guardians may have the deepest bullpen ever built. They’re the only team in baseball history to have five relievers with ERAs under 2.00 (min. 25 IP), a group that doesn’t include Erik Sabrowski, whom we discussed yesterday. Just one team, the 2010 Padres, had ever had four pitchers like this. Emmanuel Clase had an all-timer of a season, with a 0.61 ERA that ties for the third-best ever (min. 50 IP). Just four relievers had a lower hard-hit rate this year than Clase did.
